*Zoom planning meeting for Lancaster Story Slam’s virtual slam in March*

This month, York Story Slam is going virtual! We'll host our April 21 story slam via Zoom. The theme is MAN vs. BEAST and our MC will be Meagan Given. The event is pay-what-you-can; we will gratefully accept contributions during the event, and add them to our upcoming Give Local York campaign.

You must register in order to attend. Once you register, we'll send you a confirmation email that includes the link to tune in on April 21. We will begin promptly at a 7 pm that evening. You'll click the link at the scheduled time from your laptop, tablet, or phone to join the call. You may wish to download the Zoom app if you don’t already have it, but it is not necessary to participate – if you don’t have it, the call will launch in your web browser.

UPDATE - APRIL 17 - STORYTELLER SIGN-UPS HAVE CLOSED! We will have nine storytellers participating in this event.

We're also looking for storytellers. We want to hear your stories of animal encounters, uncooperative pets, and walks on the wild side. However you interpret this month's theme, we look forward to hearing your true stories.

If you'd like to sign up to be a storyteller, you'll need to sign up in advance. We'll also need you to attend a rehearsal via Zoom the evening before on Monday, April 20 so we can run through the event and make sure everyone's equipment is working properly.
