The theme for our February story slam was SECOND CHANCES and we not only had another sold-out event, we also had a 11 names in the hat right off the bat. We heard stories about second chances at life and love, major life events that provided a significant shift in perspective, stories about being given a chance and totally blowing it, and overall, quite a few tales of redemption. Phil Broder won with his story of a college English assignment that led to a big opportunity to shine.

Phil is pictured here with this month's host, Jamie Beth Cohen. Phil won an exclusive York Story Slam journal from our friends at Story Supply Co. and earned a spot in our Grand Slam in November.
