The theme for our June story slam was Happy Days, and we heard stories about happy childhood moments from the perspectives of both child and parent, perspective gained during the pandemic, and reminiscing before walking a daughter down the aisle to the altar. The evening featured six storytellers and our MC was 2017 Grand Slam champ Eileen Joyce. It was a great night of stories that ended in a tie.
Jamie Beth Cohen and Randy Schulz each won an exclusive York Story Slam-branded journal from our friends at Story Supply Co and earned a spot in our Grand Slam in November.
