The theme for our April story slam was Win, Lose, or Draw and happily, we mostly heard stories of wins - even the stories of losing led to wins later on. The evening featured seven storytellers, and our MC was our own JJ Sheffer.
Erin Marsicano won with her story about overcoming her childhood shyness by participating in pageants.
Erin won an exclusive York Story Slam-branded journal from our friends at Story Supply Co and earned a spot in our Grand Slam in November.
