*Par Bowman wins our September story slam.*

The theme for our September story slam was TEEN SPIRIT and featured eight storytellers. We heard stories about a first-ever unchaperoned road trip, a pie-eating contest, and teenage pranks pulled on a teacher. Our MC for the evening was Corey Wolfe.

Our winning story this month came from our Par Bowman, who told us about the time she entered a teen scholarship pageant. Par won an exclusive York Story Slam journal from our friends at Story Supply Co. and earned a spot in our Grand Slam in November.
